Hoya latifolia likes little water, but it is important that the soil does not petrify and remains slightly moist. Too much water (wet feet) can cause root rot.

Hoya Latifolia can be fertilised once a month in summer with a light fertiliser. In autumn and winter, fertilisation is hardly necessary. Growth then slows down and the plant consumes few nutrients.
